King Cole Subtle Drifter DK Leaflet 5475

This leaflet contains a knitting pattern for a child's round-necked, cabled cardigan with the choice of long or short (three-quarter) sleeves.  Cables are worked on front and back of cardigan.

The Long-Sleeved Cardigan is worked in two colours, with the contrast colour forming a broad band at the bottom of the body of the sweater and the sleeves.   

This cardigan is worked flat and seamed.  Bands are picked up and knit.

 Sizes:  to fit chest 51 to 76 cm (20 to 30 in.), approximately 18 months to 10 years.

Yarn:

• Long-Sleeved Cardigan:  2 to 3 balls Subtle Drifter DK in Main Colour, 1 to 2 balls in Contrast Colour
• Short-Sleeved Cardigan:  2 to 4 balls Subtle Drifter DK

Needles: 

• 3.25 mm (US 3)
• 4.0 mm (US 6)
