Wool-Tyme’s Shipping and Handling Rates Have Changed

 

NOTICE REGARDING SHIPPING FOR CUSTOMERS LIVING IN THE USA:

STARTING AUGUST 29, 2025, ALL SHIPMENTS ENTERING THE USA MUST HAVE DUTIES PREPAID BEFORE CROSSING THE BORDER. THIS DUTY WILL BE EQUAL TO THE EFFECTIVE TARIFF RATE; FOR CANADA, THE CURRENT RATE IS 34% FOR MOST GOODS. WE ARE  WORKING WITH CANADA POST TO BRING YOU THE BEST SHIPPING RATES. AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO SHIP TO THE U.S. THROUGH CANADA POST. U.S. CUSTOMERS WILL NOTICE A DUTIES LINE NOW LISTED IN THEIR COST BREAKDOWN. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR ANY FOLLOW UP EMAILS AFTER YOUR PURCHASE REGARDING POTENTIAL OUTSTANDING DUTIES. IF YOU ARE ORDERING WITH US FROM WITHIN THE U.S. THERE MAY BE A DELAY IN PROCESSING AND DELIVERY SERVICES, AS WE NAVIGATE DUTIES AND PAYMENTS GOING FORWARD. As of June 2, 2025, we’ve updated our shipping options.

To better serve our Canadian customers, we now offer shipping via Canada Post, and Purolator. We’ve chosen to extend the discounted rates available to us through our commercial accounts. This means shipping costs may have increased for some orders and decreased for many others. Wool-Tyme may choose a different shipping method for you if we find a faster option, as the rates will fluctuate occasionally. 

Shipping rates are calculated based on package weight. We’ve done our best to ensure multiple options are available. Free shipping in Canada is still available on orders over $150 (before tax) of regular-priced merchandise. Gift certificates are excluded.

U.S. customers continue to have the choice between tracked and untracked shipping for most orders. Our commercial rates apply here as well, and we hope you find them competitive.

International customers can now choose from a variety of shipping rates and methods that best meet their needs.

NOTE FOR ORDERS SHIPPED OUTSIDE CANADA:
Wool-Tyme is not responsible for tariffs, taxes, duties, or other charges incurred at your destination.


Order Processing Time

We aim to process all orders within 2–3 business days. If you haven’t received a shipping confirmation within this time, please check your email, junk, or spam folders. We may be waiting for additional information from you.

Canada Post parcels are picked up daily Monday through Friday. Purolator is collected 2 times per week. 

Once your order has left our store, we are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, postal delays, or customs issues. If you believe your tracked package may be lost, contact us—we’ll do our best to help you navigate your chosen postal carrier's tracking system.

If you selected an untracked shipping option, we regret that we’re unable to help locate lost packages.


Online Return Policy


Regular-Priced Yarn:
If the colour you received is not what you expected based on your monitor, you may return it immediately for a refund or an exchange. Standard Shipping & Handling charges apply to any exchanges being sent out.

You have four months from the date of purchase to return any unused regular priced yarn in resalable condition. There is no return on needles, patterns, books, notions, or sale items.

All returns must be clearly marked with “RETURN” on the outside of the parcel. Any Customs Duties charged to us due to unclear labeling will be deducted from your refund.
