Shipping & Returns
To keep our prices low on sale items, our system sometimes struggles to calculate "Free Shipping" thresholds when regular and sale items are mixed.
Free Shipping is still available on orders over $150 (before tax) of regular-priced merchandise. Gift certificates are excluded. If you add sale items, Shopify may automatically add a shipping charge at checkout.
Don't worry! We review every order manually before processing payment. If your regular-priced items hit the $150 mark, we will manually remove the shipping charge before your card is officially charged.
We are now offering local delivery through Trexity. To better serve our Canadian customers, we now offer shipping via Canada Post, Purolator, and UPS where available. We’ve chosen to extend the discounted rates available to us through our commercial accounts. This means shipping costs may have increased for some orders and decreased for many others.
NOTE ON INSURANCE: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that your shipping method has the insurance coverage you desire. Note that with Canada Post Regular shipping has no insurance coverage. Xpress and Expedited mail have coverage for up to $100 CAD; if you would like to increase this amount you will have to purchase appropriate coverage.
Shipping rates are calculated based on package weight. We’ve done our best to ensure multiple options are available.
U.S. customers continue to have the choice between tracked and untracked shipping for most orders. Our commercial rates apply here as well, and we hope you find them competitive. Please note that American customers will have to pay duty at the time of purchase.
International customers can now choose from a variety of shipping rates and methods that best meet their needs. Note that Canada Post Small Packet International Air offers faster delivery (6-12 business days) than surface mail but without end-to-end tracking

Wool-Tyme is not responsible for tariffs, taxes, duties, or other charges incurred at your destination.
Order Processing Time
We aim to process all orders within 2–3 business days. If you haven’t received a shipping confirmation within this time, please check your email, junk, or spam folders. We may be waiting for additional information from you.
Canada Post parcels are picked up daily Monday through Friday. Purolator is collected 2 times per week. We try to have local Trexity packages sent out the next weekday.
Once your order has left our store, we are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, postal delays, or customs issues. If you believe your tracked package may be lost, contact us—we’ll do our best to help you navigate your chosen postal carrier's tracking system.
If you selected an untracked shipping option, we regret that we’re unable to help locate lost packages.
Online Return Policy
Regular-Priced Yarn:
If the colour you received is not what you expected based on your monitor, you may return it immediately for a refund or an exchange. Standard Shipping & Handling charges apply to any exchanges being sent out.
You have four months from the date of purchase to return any unused regular priced yarn in resalable condition. There is no return on needles, patterns, books, notions, or sale items.
All returns must be clearly marked with “RETURN” on the outside of the parcel. Any Customs Duties charged to us due to unclear labeling will be deducted from your refund.
