WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING

A Letter to the Customers

I can't think of many people I know whose lives have not been touched by a cancer diagnosis, and that includes the people we love here at Wool-Tyme. When we heard about the Canadian Cancer Society's February Knitting Challenge, we wanted to be involved. It has been our experience that the fibre community is very caring, and it made sense to us to 'knit' these people and this fundraiser together.

If you have not already signed up to be involved, can we encourage you to do so? You can follow this link to sign up: February Knitting Challenge. There is even a Facebook group to share your progress and ideas!

We don't think that you will need help with the knitting part, but to help increase donations, Wool-Tyme is pledging the following. If you email us (orders@wool-tyme.com) a screenshot of, or the link to, the fundraising page you created we will make a donation.

If between 0-15 people send us sign up info, we will donate $2000 to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Between 16 and 25 people: $3000

Between 26 and 40: $3000

Between 41 and 50+: $5000

And we encourage you to send your fundraising information to people in your lives to keep you motivated to complete the challenge, and continue to raise funds. At this time, the Canadian Cancer Society has already reached their goal for this fundraiser, but let's send a strong message of what this community can do. And every dollar will help research and support to people we love.

Thanks for considering supporting this important cause!
