Next Level: Learn to Knit 4 New Stitches

This 4 session course is for those who have knit before and are looking to expand their knitting knowledge.  Each class will be 2 hours in length. Please note that you are signing up to participate in all 4 sessions.

Course Objectives:
Each session you will learn an new stich, as well as focus on various knitting topics. The goal of this class is to have you be able to create the Color Wheel Cowl, and be better equipped for future projects. 

Session 1: Seed Stitch; also provisional cast-on and understanding abbreviations

Session 2: Textured Rib Stitch: also, All about the join – how to add new colours or new balls of yarn

Session 3:  Basket Weave Stitch; also Tools of the Craft, what do you really need.

Session 4. Fleck Stitch; also Making sense of finishing instructions – do I really need to block this?

Feel free to come with your own questions as well.

Skill Level: You have completed our Learn to Knit Beginner class, or have equivalent knowledge. 

Homework: You will need to work through project to prepare for the next session. 

Supply List: Pattern will be supplied. Other materials you will need:

• 4 Skeins of Silk Garden Solo; 4 different colours will give the desired effect OR approximately 100 m of another 4 colours of worsted weight yarn will work (400 m total)
• One pair of 4.5mm needles (or size to obtain gauge)
• tapestry needle
