Wool-Tyme Knitting Class -Learn to knit a Shawl/Scarf
This course is for a knitter who is familiar with the basics and is looking to go to the next level. Each class will be 2 hours in length.
Course Objectives:
You will learn how to read a pattern and knit a shawl/scarf (depending on how long you want to make it). Our experienced teacher will be there to help you along the way
Skill Level: Participants should have completed our Learn to Knit class, or have equivalent knowledge.
Homework: Knitting at home to progress through pattern.
Supply List: Needles and yarn are to be supplied by participant. You can choose to knit this shawl in a sport or aran weight.
Sport: You will need approximately 500 meters sport weight yarn (24 stitches = 10 cm
in stockinette stitch) and 3.50mm (US 4) knitting needles.
Aran: You will need 400 meters aran weight yarn( 18 stitches = 10 cm
in stockinette stitch) and 6mm (US10) knitting needles.
