Bohin needles are made in France from nickel-plated steel and go through 27 manufacturing stages, which guarantees them incomparable glide and an impeccable finish.  They come in a variety of applications and sizes.


Tapestry (Canvas):
Pack of 6
- round/blunt tip.

These tapestry needles have a rounded tip with a large eye.  As its name suggests, it is ideal for wool tapestry thread.  It can also be used to sew your knits. They are also used on Aida, evenweave or linen fabric for cross stitch.

The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, No. 18 being the longest and thickest and No. 28 the shortest and thinnest of the series.  Numbers 24, 26 & 28 are widely used for the cross stitch.

Chenille:

These needles are ideal for embroidery using a very thick yarn (silk chenille type) on thin canvases and fabrics. Their large, long eye allows a thick yarn to be threaded through in order to make ribbon embroidery or embellishment embroidery, using very thick threads such as silk

Embroidery:  Pack of 12

Use embroidery needles on medium and heavyweight fabrics such as velvet, wools, brocade, broadcloth or denim.  Embroidery needles are used on weft and warp fabrics from the thickest to the finest for all types of traditional embroidery. The embroidery needle has a large eye that allows you to thread the cotton embroidery thread(s), which is thicker than a classic sewing thread. The embroidery thread, which is more shiny, will give relief to your work. Equipped with an embroidery hoop and special embroidery transfer paper, you can learn to embroider or enhance your creations!

Milliner/Straw: Pack of 15

Super smooth milliners/straw needles with sharp points and eyes that resist breakage. Milliners are longer than regular sewing needles and are especially useful for making embroidered knots.
