WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING
A Letter to the Customers
Hello everyone,
What a great first month of 2026 with you all! Even though the weather has been extreme at times, we appreciate all of you who made a trip out to see us and thank you for your patience to those who may have experienced delivery delays on your orders.
To celebrate this Olympic season, as a Canadian company we encourage you to take a look at all the wonderful Canadian inspired patterns on Ravelry. And if you haven't done so already, check out this great clip from Canadian Olympic hopeful Adam Runnalls (knitting in pic below) talking about the flow state of knitting.
It's not too late to let us know that you are participating in the February Knitting Challenge put together by the Canadian Cancer Society. Over 25 people have already shared with us that they took up the challenge. You can find more information about this on our February Knitting Challenge – Wool-Tyme.
Are you looking for other ways to support our community with your knitting or crochet? Besides blankets for Project Linus, we are now also a drop off location for Knitted Knockers. Find out more about this charity here Knitted Knockers of Canada – Soft, comfortable, knit prosthetics for breast cancer survivors.
AND we would like to share about a new project aimed at giving refugee children arriving in Canada something comforting to hold on to. See more information on the Welcome Bears initiative below.
Stay warm out there!

Sharing for a Local Crafter:
Hi, my name is Helen, and I’m a crochet artist and content creator. I’m currently working on a project for the CBC Creative Network and I am looking to connect with other crafters who use adaptive tools to create art. This could include fiber arts, painting, sculpting, music, or any other creative practice. I personally use a crochet aid to support my work. Please feel free to reach out to me by email at imhelenzhou@gmail.com.
