WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING

A Letter to the Customers about Project Linus

The Ottawa Chapter of Project Linus meets at Wool-Tyme the second Thursday of every month.  While together, we knit or crochet blankets we are working on and label the blankets that are donated. We welcome new volunteers, however we do ask that you contact us at the store (613-225-9083) before you come as space is limited.

We are aware that not everyone can come in person to the meetings. If you would like to be involved by knitting/crocheting blanket for CHEO at home, please follow the guidelines below. We will accept donations of blankets (no smaller than 35"x35") to be donated to other agencies. Donations can be dropped off during regular store hours.

For more information, please click the link to our website to find out more: Project Linus at Wool-Tyme

We are presently donating blankets to CHEO and The Children's Aid Society. In the past year we have donated approximately 146 blankets. A big thank you to all who have donated their time and talents to this wonderful cause.
