Batwing sweaters were all the rage in the eighties and this version for kids has lovely all-over lace stitch. The pretty, airy design is easy to wear and perfect for those jean- and-a-nice top occasions. The batwing shape is achieved by knitting side to side.

You'll also need: 1 Pair of 4mm (UK8 – US6) Knitting Needles and 1 Pair of 3¼mm (UK10 – US3) Knitting Needles. 1 3¼mm (UK10 – US3) Circular Needle or 1 Set of 3¼mm (UK10 – US3) Double Pointed Needles for neckband. Stitch Holders.
