Mitred Square Blanket or Shawl

In this class you will learn the fundamentals of knitting a mitred square and joining as you go. No need to sew it together after the knitting is done.

Any weight of yarn can be used for this project and you can decide the finished size.  Choose fingering yarn in a collection of colours either planned or stashed, or specific yarn in a colour palette to match your colour scheme.  If you want a heavier weight blanket you might choose a Dk or even Aran weight yarn.

Supply List: You choose what weight of yarn you want to use.

Suggestion: Fingering weight yarn for a shawl or light blanket. Dk or heavier for a blanket.

Bring some yarn to start your project and corresponding needles. Straight or circular will do; the instructor usually uses short, straight needles. 

Skill Level:  Participants should have completed our Learn to Knit class, or have equivalent knowledge.

Homework: You will need to continue your project at home to complete it.
