WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING

A Letter to the Customers

Hey everyone,

Thank you so much for all the love and support on Local Yarn Shop Day! We really enjoyed seeing all of your faces, and your fibre choices for your next projects.

Though it's hard to believe, we are already spending time being introduced to, and ordering, fall and winter yarns. We hope you are excited to see the new yarns and colour options from companies you are familiar with, and some new lines to Wool-Tyme. Keep an eye in your inbox and on our social media as fall arrives to get a glimpse of what will be in store! In the meantime, we have so many lovely new summer yarns still arriving, perfect for warm weather wear.

For those who expressed interest in our Iceland trip, the itinerary and cost information should be ready for us to share soon. We thank everyone who shared feedback on this trip.

Some of you may be aware that there is the potential for another postal strike in Canada. In response, we will be updating shipping options this week. We will share updates from Canada Post, and our response to them, as we receive them. As with the last strike, we will leave options available to you to make shipping choices as you see fit. PLEASE NOTE, we are encouraging people who are unable to have uncertainty with the arrival of their order to not choose Canada Post as an option past May 15. If a strike is called on May 22nd, there is the potential of your order getting stuck in the system and not arriving until the strike ends and the backlog is cleared.

As we meet and speak with you, our amazing customers, other store owners, our suppliers and other industry contributors, we hear frustration in the uncertainty that many are facing. But we also hear a lot of hope, and support, for each other. We are thankful to be a part of this community that shares and creates beauty in this world and are thankful that this knits us all together.

Happy knitting all,

Diana
