Welcome to the Wool-Tyme Newsletter!
Six months have flown by since I assumed ownership of Wool-Tyme, and it has been an extraordinary journey so far! Meeting countless customers like yourself has been an absolute joy; and collaborating with Wool-Tyme's incredible staff has been such a pleasure. One of the highlights for me is witnessing individuals step through our doors, their eyes widening with excitement at the vast array of possibilities before them. If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting our store yet, it's an experience you don't want miss when you find yourself in Ottawa. We've made significant updates to our website and increased our social media presence, affording us more incredible and enjoyable avenues to engage with all of you. I cannot express enough my gratitude for the chance to belong to the flourishing Wool-Tyme community, where knitters, crocheters, rug-hookers, weavers, cross-stitchers, embroiders, and more can connect not just within Ottawa's borders but across the entire globe. I hope that this newsletter will serve as yet another way to foster more creativity within our community!

Recently, I (Diana) have been working on the Flax Sweater by Tin Can Knits. I am knitting it in Nuna from Mirasol in Cherry Bomb, and am loving the feel and the colour of this yarn. This is my first time using the Tin Can Knits app and I have been SO impressed! Both free and paid for patterns can be tailored to the measurements you want, and then you get a personalized pattern with detailed instructions, helpful links, and places to keep notes. I will definitely be using it again.
Item of the MonthNew to the store this past month is ChiaoGoo's newest Special Edition interchangeable set, the Forté 2.0, includes tips that are an elegant combination of sleek stainless steel combined with Carbon Fiber or African Blackwood.

SALES There will be an in-store sale in our needlework section during the last week of February. More details will be posted on our social media pages as we approach the date. UPCOMING PRODUCTS WELCOME SPRING! Expect new spring line additions of some of your favourites to the store soon. We will make announcements about them as they arrive. UPCOMING EVENTS We are so excited to be hosting Trailhead Yarns for a trunk show on the 23rd and 24th of February. They will be bringing products that are new to our store and offering embroidery workshops. It will be a great time with loads of learning and fun. |
