WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING
A Letter to the Customers
Just a few weeks ago, I was able to visit Ireland; a country that I have dreamed about visiting since I was 16 years old. The pictures of Ireland I have had in my mind have been inspired by musicians, poets, and artists that have portrayed their home land in both brutal and tender honesty. After years of dreaming, I have to say, the reality did not disappoint.
Our journey allowed us to experience the beauty of the coast and the charm of the cities. I had the opportunity to meet with wool producers, weavers and dyers. We watched machinery from the 1800’s in a mill built in the 1200’s, all part of the process of Ireland’s wool heritage. I could rave about the food, the pints and whisky, the cobble stone roads, the crypts of old churches, and centuries old libraries. I could go on, yet instead I will invite you to come with Wool-Tyme next year for a unique knitting and textile trip to Ireland. And if it's not the time or place for you, we wish you your own wooly adventures!

Patagonia Organic Merinotweed yarn is humanely grown in Argentina and spun from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified, sustainable, non-mulesed, pesticide-free organic merino wool.
